Chief Security Officer, John Anthony Smith, founded Conversant Group in July of 2009 as an outgrowth of his passion to cultivate people-focused business.

Engaged on numerous projects and consultations with companies both large and small throughout his over 30-year career, John understands the unique challenges of conducting business on a human-centric level — its strategy, quality, and process.  He especially understands the practice of law, as he has served law firms’ technological and business needs since 1998.

ジョンは1994年、14歳の時にテネシー州ラヴァーンのThompson Machinery Commerce CorporationでITのキャリアをスタートさせました。Thompson Machinery社に在籍中、ジョンは以下のような業界をリードする複数のテクノロジーの初期導入に携わりました：Citrix Winframe、IBM NetStation、Window NT 3.51、Windows NT 4.0、Windows NT Terminal Services Edition、Shiva経由のリモートアクセス、ISDNインターネット、WebSenseなどです。

Thompson Machinery在職中の1996年、最初の会社Computechを設立。2002年には2社目となるNetAlliant Technologies社を設立し、2008年に売却した。

2009年、テネシー州チャタヌーガにテクノロジー複合企業コンバーサント・グループを設立。

テネシー大学チャタヌーガ校でコンピューター・サイエンスを学び、ジョージア州ルックアウト・マウンテンのコヴェナント・カレッジで組織管理の学位を取得。
