John Anthony Smith
Chief Security Officer and Co-founder, John Anthony Smith, founded Conversant Group in July of 2009, which evolved into Fenix24, as an outgrowth of his passion to cultivate people-focused business. Fenix24 is a technology conglomerate based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, serving clients across North America, Europe, and more as the World’s First Civilian Cybersecurity Force.
Engaged on numerous projects and consultations with companies both large and small throughout his over 30-year career, John understands the unique challenges of conducting business on a human-centric level — its strategy, quality, and process. He especially understands the practice of law, as he has served law firms’ technological and business needs since 1998.
John A. Smith begann seine IT-Karriere 1994 im Alter von 14 Jahren bei der Thompson Machinery Commerce Corporation in Lavergne, TN. Während seiner Tätigkeit bei Thompson Machinery war Smith an der anfänglichen Einführung mehrerer branchenführender Technologien beteiligt, darunter: Citrix Winframe, IBM NetStation, Windows NT 3.51, Windows NT 4.0, Windows NT Terminal Services Edition, Fernzugriff über Shiva, ISDN-Internet und WebSense.
Während seiner Zeit bei Thompson Machinery gründete John A. Smith sein erstes Unternehmen, Computech, im Jahr 1996. Im Jahr 2002 gründete er sein zweites Unternehmen, NetAlliant Technologies, das er im Jahr 2008 verkaufte.
John studied Computer Science at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and holds a degree in Organizational Management from Covenant College, Lookout Mountain, Georgia.
