John Anthony Smith
Chief Security Officer and Co-founder, John Anthony Smith, founded Conversant Group in July of 2009, which evolved into Fenix24, as an outgrowth of his passion to cultivate people-focused business. Fenix24 is a technology conglomerate based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, serving clients across North America, Europe, and more as the World’s First Civilian Cybersecurity Force.
Engaged on numerous projects and consultations with companies both large and small throughout his over 30-year career, John understands the unique challenges of conducting business on a human-centric level — its strategy, quality, and process. He especially understands the practice of law, as he has served law firms’ technological and business needs since 1998.
John a commencé sa carrière dans l'informatique en 1994, à l'âge de 14 ans, chez Thompson Machinery Commerce Corporation à Lavergne, TN. Lorsqu'il travaillait pour Thompson Machinery, John a été impliqué dans le déploiement initial de plusieurs technologies de pointe, notamment : Citrix Winframe, IBM NetStation, Window NT 3.51, Windows NT 4.0, Windows NT Terminal Services Edition, l'accès à distance via Shiva, ISDN Internet et WebSense.
Pendant qu'il travaillait chez Thompson Machinery, John a fondé sa première entreprise, Computech, en 1996. En 2002, il a fondé sa deuxième entreprise, NetAlliant Technologies, qu'il a vendue en 2008.
John studied Computer Science at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and holds a degree in Organizational Management from Covenant College, Lookout Mountain, Georgia.
